What is a home watch service?

A home watch service provides professional oversight of your home while you are away. At Peace Home Watch provides detailed visual inspections of key areas of your property, including A/C and humidity, plumbing, pool and exterior conditions, while keeping you informed about the overall conditions of your home.

 

How often should my Naples home be checked while I am away?

At Peace Home Watch recommends weekly visits while your Naples home is unoccupied. Florida’s heat, humidity, heavy rain, and storms can cause conditions to change quickly, and concerns such as an A/C failure, water leak, or elevated humidity can become costly if left unnoticed.

 

What is included in a home watch visit?

Each visit includes a thorough review of key interior and exterior areas of your home, including plumbing, A/C and humidity, doors and windows, appliances where applicable, garage areas, landscaping, and pool and spa conditions. You will also receive a detailed report with photos after each visit.

 

What happens if you discover a problem at my home?

If I notice a concern such as a leak, A/C issue, water intrusion, elevated humidity, or another unexpected condition, I’ll contact you promptly. With your approval, I can coordinate the appropriate vendor or service professional and oversee the necessary work.

 

What is the difference between home watch and property oversight?

Home Watch focuses on regular visual inspections of your home while you are away, helping identify potential concerns early. Property Oversight provides a broader level of support, including vendor coordination, repairs, maintenance, deliveries, installations, projects, storm preparations, and other property related needs.

 

Do you provide storm property checks?

Yes, at Peace Home Watch can assist with pre-storm preparation and property checks. Once conditions are safe after, I inspect your home for visible damage or concerns and keep you informed with photos and updates. If something needs attention, I can also coordinate the appropriate service or repair.

 

Can you prepare my home before I return to Naples?

Yes. I can prepare your home for your arrival by coordinating cleaning, adjusting the A/C and lighting, preparing the pool or spa, stocking groceries, arranging fresh flowers, and taking care of other personalized requests so you can simply arrive and enjoy your home.
